Two Car Seats in One. The Varioguard is an amazingly flexible car seat with ISOFixbase which can be used for many years. It provides you and your child with the latest technology and the highest level of safety. This car seat is ECE 44/04 approved (current car seat standard) and meets all the requirements to transport your baby’safe and secure. The Memory foam, used in the head region, is impact- and shock- absorbing and provides excellent test results in frontal and side crashes. High-quality and breathable materials are used around the head and the sitting area and therefore ensure the highest level of comfort. A smaller sitting unit provides the perfect support for your newborn. The Varioguard car seat offers – unlike other Group 0+ carseats – a 5-point harness and energy-absorbing strap pads which guarantee the highest level of security. The ISOFixbase of the Varioguard can be locked in the car via the ISOFix connections and the front pedestal. If there is no ISOFix connection, you can fasten the base securely with a 3 point seatbelt. If you use the ISOFix connection of your car, you can use the Varioguard for up to and including group I in the rearward facing position, which means from birth onwards to 18 kg of weight. Providing better security for your child right through to approx 4 years old. Alternatively, if you are using with the 3-point seatbelt of your vehicle, you can use the seat rearward facing as a car seat of the group 0 + (from birth to 13kg) and afterwards in the direction of travel (9-18 kg). In this position, the angle of the seat can be adjusted into 5 positions. The height-adjustable head protection offers the highest level of safety and optimum side impact protection in all positions.
